GMR Ride (Saturday Night Ride...6 PM)

There has been a thread in the SoCal forum for some time. I thought they all forogt about the ride but it was revived this morning.

Sat nite 6 pm at Boulder Springs for those interested. Alyce and Herb are in, Gina and I, Hillbasher (organizer) and hopefully BeachGrad05.

Pretty dark the first mile or two but once the eyes adjust, very cool ride! We will be riding at our pace as there is a group of other Socal riders going (rabbits).

OUR PLAN IS TO THE SHACK AND WE'RE STICKING TO IT! (8 miles up) If others go beyond, that's cool but we're only doing the shack Jack!

Expecting a full moon so visibility should be a little better than usual

This could be you!

Come out and join us, we're the slow make it up group but there will be others so if you want to go ahead, then go ahead. I''l be at the back with Gina as usual.

Aaaargh!!!! I so badly want to do this. I have the lights. I don't have the new tire yet, and I definitely don't have the doctor's clearance to be riding. Enjoy!!!! I look forward to the ride reports! And please, be safe. Next time, hope to be with you all.

Seems the road is open to cyclists. Should be real nice, no cars!

Probably closed as a precaution of fire danger because of the Santa Ana condition.
