Well the ride was this morning. Got there and temperature was 72 90% humidity with 25mph winds. The first 18 miles where really fast, yeah all tailwind. so rounding that 18 mile mark we get to turn into the wind and hit a hill. Got down to one away from my lowest gear. I did actually hit the lowest gear twice. I only stopped at the rest stops. I went sub 6mph for some of those hills, but I never stopped! I was able to finish the 36 miles with eight minutes to spare. Only caught a few sprinkles in the last mile.

Good weekend my team knocks of #1 in the land and I finished the first ride goal.

great job! Yes those headwinds can be a killer. Almost best to chill out on the tailwind to save energy for the headwind.
