Happy New Bike day for me..........yeah!

So I pulled the trigger....bought a closeout 2012 Giant Defy Composite 2...today. My first road bike.....I am very anxious to see how I like the compact verus my triple I logged more than 4500 miles on. Time will tell....going for my first ride tomorrow...I am thinking it might be about a 40 miler...?

Dudes on Giant bikes get all the chicks.
Good thing Giant bikes are fast so you can outrun most of them.
Have a good ride.

thanks for the replies.......picture...yes in a few days...when it starts raining...and I am not riding it! Giant bike get all the chicks?......don;t tell my wife.......LOL. So I did a 45 miler today.....so far...I can say what a difference...had no idea that an all carbon bike...could ride so much better. It seemed that I could get up to speed quicker than normal. Of course....I want this bike to be the be all end all....seemed pretty good. I really like the positive feedback from the SRAM shifting!

Nope! Not even close. We need to see you on the bike, or it doesn't count.

Congrats. Good call on the bike. I came VERY close to buying the 2010 version. BY FAR, the best riding bike out of anything in my budget. Some little medical things stopped me from buying it, but once I got that annoyance cleared up, I revised my budget and bought my Lynskey instead. If I had bought the bike before the medical stuff, I would still be very pleased with my purchase!

And yes, we expect pictures of you riding it, on Mt. Shasta, wearing one Specialized shoe and one Sidi.....or it didn't happen!
