FIFY. It was a great day. I was glad that I got to ride with the group that I did, and will agree that MRS. PJ gets the cool points. Everyone here that rode that ride did their first epic ride at some point. This was Mrs. PJ's first.

Soon! Sorry, just didn't feel it on this one. Maybe the pain at the end is what makes it epic. If so, I obviously missed the point.

I didn't make it to the finish. Work blew up. I had client meetings in Glendale, Griffith Park then East Lancaster. Long day. I made it back to the finish line around 5 and found my friend in the TV truck. Chatted with him for a while, but all the tents were torn down by time I got there. I was told next year is a MUST! He'll hook me up.

I dunno... I think finishing a century is epic worthy - that's a lot of pedaling. I felt FANTASTIC after the palm springs one.

Are they routing the ride through valencia next year? They don't know the route already do they? I missed the start today, same excuse. Bizzy at work.

She's a little peeved at me right now, though. I had surgery last week to remove a "bump" from the arch of my right foot. Which, BTW, after riding 100 miles was ready for me to be off the bike, too. But, each time it acted up, I just reminded myself that I wasn't dumb enough to fall off a curb drunk and destroy my ankle, and if someone can be riding 100 miles with me in that condition (jacked up ankle, not drunk), I'm not going to complain about a little "bump".

Anyway, I still have 7 stitches in my foot and doc said no riding yet, and it's driving Mrs. PJ nuts. I use the term "bump" instead of "tumor" (which is what it was), but with my history, I like "bump" better. Anyway, I got pathology back yesterday and it was benign. WHAT A RELIEF! Did not want to go down that road again!

However, can you believe it? Doc said I'm off the bike for a whole 'nother week!

grsat news on the bump, PJ! And you guys look awesome/happy in that pic!

Well, I already bought my one photo from the world's slowest photographer. This guy is apparently a different world's slowest photographer.

I got the "original" size... for $5. It was 6 MP. Which 5d3 produces a 6 mp file? What a rip. I like my pixels.
