Not safe for work
I received my jersey here in the Great White North (except it's actually really mild outside and the grass is bright green and there are things still growing in the garden) on Monday. Usually I wear a 3x in womens or even a 2x if it isn't a slim cut but the jersey is quite snug. But that's alright because I've spent the last month being careful about food and have lost 7 pounds already. I think I'm about a size down from the jersey being comfortable wear over a thermal longsleeve shirt to allow me to show it off on my bike rides.
Thank you for setting up the design of the jersey and sending me one, PJ. I'm already looking forward to another design, if there have been any thoughts regarding it.

I think we have a really well done design for now and can use it to spread our particular brand of cycling crazy to the world. Maybe revisit jersey design in a few years? If they can be designed so well each time, I will keep buying.

OK, we all knew this was somewhat of a crap-shoot, especially because the custom nature of all of this makes them "un-returnable". However, there is a "Round 2" thread going and I would suggest, if you're not happy with the size you ordered, you post in there that you have a round 1 jersey that is too small for you, post the size and your pertinent size/weight info and see if anyone wants to buy it. You can always get into round 2 order with the appropriate size.
Infact, why not a "jersey exchange" type program here: Folks who've lost weight or gained weight and have jerseys that don't fit anymore, can trade them to others who might have a smaller/bigger sized one instead? Same concept as the "free Clyde jersey" thread/idea, just tweaked a bit.
(Ex. "I have this 3xl Garmin jersey and shorts that are now too big for me, wanna trade for your 2Xl Campy jersey? You said you've gained weight, this might fit you a bit better...blah blah blah".). You guys make the deal, simple!

So is there anyone around 6' and about 215-220?
I measured my existing jersey, which is a tad loose but not excessive, and those measurements come out closer to a Large for the C&A jersey sizing than they do XL, but my current jersey is an XL.
From what people are saying the sizing runs a bit snug but I have another ~20 lbs to lose and from people who are close to my current size the XL seems to be what would make sense now, but I also don't want a loosey goosey jersey next season.
Are people finding the jerseys to be tighter than what they should in the armpit area and not the gut or is it both?

I'm just shy of 6'2" and I think I was about 225 when I modeled my jersey (somewhere above this is the pic) and it's pretty snug but not terrible. if you're aiming for 205 you can probably get away with XL. They're stretchy, afterall.
