OT: GoPro 'wannabe' for $45 shipped!

Seems like a good deal for Santa. Not seen any reviews of the setup though.

Says the deal ends in 5 hours

That doesn't look like too bad of a deal, but it would have been a horrible deal at the original price. The specs say it only records for 40 minutes, not sure if that's the limitation of the memory or the battery.

You also get the 8gb card which must be worth $10 or so. Therefore, you get the setup for $35 if you take out the price of the card. Not too bad as my GoPro was $175

Edit:

The two Amazon reviews are favorable AND it comes with a user-screen unlike the GoPro

I bought 2 of these on black Friday at the Menards where my wife works. They were $35 there during their 6 hour sale. I bought mine to strap onto my airplanes to do some airborne video. I won't feel bad if i lose one of them in flight at that cost! I probably won't get a chance to try them til spring at the earliest.
My wife bought me a GoPro for my birthday. There was no way I was going to strap a $200 cam on the airplane!

Someone linked to those on another forum (they are available at Big Lots for $50) and there was a fairly extensive review that was not very favorable.
