OT: Sufferfest Videos Have Awful Music

Hi all,
Anyone using the 'Sufferfest' videos? Weekdays, I'm relegated to the garage due to consistent rain and early dark nights in the area. I have a Cycleops trainer and received new Sufferfest videos as a xmas gift. I do like the SF series for the 'mix-up' of fast/slow riding that they walk you through but the soundtracks are just awful. They seem to be from unknown indie bands and are basically a lot of shouting. I would wear headphones and use my own music but then I would not be able to hear the audio prompts on the videos.

Anyone come up with a solution for this or are the SF videos not that popular?

Thanks all.

I don't like suferfest music either. I just heard it for the first time for each SF video I bought just to try some new.music and ended up using the personal playlist. However I use earphones to keep the volume down and not disturb the familiy (i do the rollers or trainer on the tv room). I think the real problem lies on having to change the earphones because sweat gets into them. Ive tried standard mac-phones, sony and bose and they all died. Any suggestions ? Wireless, headphones?

I have killed every in-ear headphone I've worked out with...including my $200 Shure's.

Now I use something like this and have had no problems. I don't know the exact model I have, but this is similar.

Thanks - They look nice and at a good price. How do you handle the SF audio prompts though? My videos have 'engine rev - speed up', 'crowd cheer - you made it so slow down' etc. If I was wearing headphones I wouldnt hear the prompts.

The videos are interesting though and at times you find yourself trying to chase down a rider who is on the screen. The brain is a funny thing

To each his own.

I chuckled last night as I rode 'Local Hero' - I swear one of the tracks was 'Lets go Shopping'

However, they do seem to work. I lasted 25 mins of the 85 mins before I had to call it quits - quite a workout!
