Describes an adventure taken by one of our own.

One of my favorite quotes from it:
"Out west, we just don't have the kinds of elevation changes that you find in the east. Sure, it's a 9000 foot elevation change between my house in Denver and the top of Mt Evans but that's over 50 miles. And our roads snake around the mountains, switching back and forth to keep the elevation change low. While we have altitude, the eastern mountains, for all their draped charms, have attitude. I'll take the altitude."

One of my favorite CGOAB entries, since I live in ETN. Getting back into riding while dealing with those Appalachian hills, is... not pleasant.
