Tell you what, after my first ride in the outdoors... she accelerates like she's got rocket boosters. Comin from a 30ish pound 21spd mountain bike to this...

Its a bit of a paradigm shift. I just wanted to keep going hard. But that little voice in the back of my head was "Dude, Um... your HR's 175. Slow the eff down."

Nice looking bike! I like the way the red contrasts with the black. Makes it look really sharp IMO.

Congrats!

Nice bike! I ride a CAAD as well. They are great bikes. That's a pretty slick paint job too!

Good attention to detail with the valve stems at 6:00. All you're missing is having the crank arms in line with either the seat tube or the chainstays.

Sounds like my story. From a Trek 3900 mountain bike, to a CAAD8. I know exactly what you mean. I attacked the first hill I came to when I rode my CAAD for the first time, and I was really impressed with how quick she accelerated, and just how nimble it was compared to what I was coming from.

Very nice bike, congratulations, and let me welcome you to the cult of CAAD.

Awesome, I can't wait to get my new bike out on the road. As for HR, ah just don't look at it. I use it for training purpose but when outside I hide it so I can't see it...lol
