Team Unlikely Cyclist - La Bella Preme Training Ride 7
My ride data from Strava:
https://app.strava.com/activities/44685412
Ride video using my GoPro on my new K-Edge handlebar mount. Noise from my drivetrain was picked up as well as my lip balm hanging on my cables made the raw audio awful...so removed and put music.
We are working on both distance and climbing. Here we are at Spyglass Park after finishing up pretty much all of our climbing for route with Dover to 16th all that was left (36.7 miles and 3238 ft)
We are missing about 5 ladies this day for various reasons. Vntgdrms could only ride up to top of Ridgeline with new rider before having to turn back as she had to open shop. Hubby unable to do that this time.

June 1 - Metric Century with we think 4400 +/- feet of climbing...could be more so we are working hard on climbing.

We started training nearly 8 weeks ago. Some of the ladies had ever ridden more than 20 miles in one ride and several had NEVER climbed hills.
We ride with a lead (typically me) and another "sweep" as we are no drop. Our first rides the group got more stretched out between faster and slower riders. Now? Not so much. So proud to be part of the team as these ladies have committed to preparing and pushing themselves.
We are planning a ride on GMR at some point.
