4/22 - 22.96 After being a total lazy bum last week after Wednesday I left the truck at work and rode to the evening "A Train" ride. +/-7.9 as a "warm up". Did the 6.5 loop. The balance was the ride home. It was a really nice day. A bit warm (upper 80s) but in a few months we'll be begging for upper 80s.

I'm going to try commuting a few days a week 5.5 each way.

MTD - 238.06
YTD - 345.29

Lol, nice find rangerbill, plan to put them to good use?

Tandem427 congratz on the metric century!

Black walnut, well done on the KOM, Ive not managed to get one of those yet (not through lack of trying!)

As for recent mileage, it has been a while since I have updated, so here are the months rides so far:

Apr 01 - 40.6km / 25.2miles
Apr 02 - 40.5km / 25.2miles
Apr 04 - 40.6km / 25.2miles
Apr 05 - 74km / 46miles
Apr 06 - 145km / 90.1miles
Apr 07 - 118.7km / 73.8miles
Apr 10 - 40.5km / 25.2miles
Apr 11 - 32.8km / 20.4miles
Apr 12 - 40.4km / 25.1miles
Apr 13 - 48.9km / 30.4miles
Apr 17 - 27.6km / 17.1miles
Apr 18 - 143.7km / 89.3miles
Apr 19 - 150.2km / 93.3miles
Apr 20 - 103.3km / 64.2miles
Apr 23 - 47.9km / 29.8miles

MTD 1094.7km / 680.2miles
Target 1319km / 820miles

Based on the planned rides for the next few days, think I should be ok to hit my targets and therefore finish the Spring Classics Challenge from Specialized.

Had planned to ride yesterday but then got a call from my wife saying the car was acting up and could I go and get her. So enough of the rest of the day was taken up with dealing with the garage (luckily she had stopped right outside the garage, so we just had to get the car out of the way) and figuring what they could do about it all. Then this morning was also taken up with figuring whether the problem was a new one that just happened to occur now (they serviced it only last week) or we just got unlucky. So finally, this afternoon I got to take the bike out again. Glorious sunshine, almost too hot really, but good to lay down some power on a ride that was never supposed to be very long.

In the end I covered 16 miles in a whisker over an hour, so factoring out time spent going slowly in a couple of pockets of heavy traffic means I'm happy

April 1 - 6 miles
April 2 - 26 miles
April 6 - 129 miles
April 14 - 15 miles
April 15 - 16 miles
April 18 - 15 miles
April 19 - 18 miles
April 21 - 18 miles
April 23 - 16 miles

MTD 259 / 347
YTD 908 / 3107

20 miles worth of intervals. Workouts like this is one of the reasons why my total mileage has been so low this year.
1 hr 5 min ride with 28% of the time > VO2max... ufda
That workout was harder on me than the Mountain Mama century I did last year.

April:
Running: 33.3 mi / 1,731' gain
Ridding: 539 / 26,830' gain

YTD:
Running: 229.7 mi / 11,813' gain
