I seem to have March 22 open if anybody wants to assault the mountain then. Maybe even assault the lifts once and for all? |

That's true. And I appreciate the grace you showed. If I remember correctly, you rode with me while carrying a full-size DSLR, stopped to take many "pictures", "fixed your gears", trued your wheels, practiced your wheelies, took a nap, etc. :roflmao2:

@PhotoJoe....not so fast (pun intended). I now am among the employed again and have ridden a whopping ZERO hours this month. 13 hours/180 miles in Feb (most of which came on the PS Century)....so I don't feel so confident in my fitness. :backpedal:

You really need to learn to maintain your own bikes... do you ever get through a ride without a major catastrophe or mechanical?
Last summer when I ramped up the road mileage, I HAD to maintain the bike to survive saturday's club ride abuse. I didn't want to be "that" breaking down or noisy bike. BUT since I'm not doing long rides every saturday this yr, I've been slacking on cleaning / maintaining the bike again. But I DID got new tires last week for one of the 3 wheelset. The Stans needs a front and tubs needs a rears from skidding at 32mph :o |

On the other hand, a steady income is good for buying bike parts. |

Yes, working a regular, paying job has that effect on one's training schedule.
On the other hand, a steady income is good for buying bike parts. I always have trouble getting into a routine when something changes but I'm really looking forward to the time change on Sunday! |
