Jamis Coda Sport.
I weigh 390 lbs. and losing... I would like a Jamis Coda Sport. Am I too heavy for a Jamis Coda or should I wait and lose a bit more weight first? I'm riding a Giant Sedona now but the bike is very slow.

If the Sedona works I don't know why the Coda wouldn't.
It has a steel frame, which I suppose is a plus. The frame should be just fine. The weak point probably would be the wheels. Jamis is a little cute with the weight limit issue. From their site:
Is there a weight limit to a JAMIS bicycle frame?
While we don’t post weight limits on our bike, when you exceed the average weight of an adult rider compared to its size, you need to exercise caution when riding and may require some different components to help the bike endure the additional weight. https://www.jamisbikes.com/usa/contact/faq.html
The only issue my spouse has had with bikes relating to his weight was a slipping seat post on one of his bikes. He resolved it with a better seat post clamp.
