I am wiped!

I've been pretty sedentary since last August.
Now I'm coming out of hibernation.

I've had a few walks with a 50 lb pack to prepare for a hike in September.
But getting on my bike has been the real shock.

Yesterday I rode to the drugstore, and today it was to the bank.
Both short rides wiped me out.

my legs feel like rubber, and I want a nap.

A clear indication of what I have to do this summer.

yeah it's tough when you skip several months, you really need to make an effort to get on the bike at least weekly or you may lose all your nice adaptations. I was off my bike for a month, and when I got back on I had to short trip it, my sit bones were bothering me again. It wasn't as bad as the two weeks of soreness from a 20 year break, bit it was two shorter rides than I was doing prior.

I rode to the drugstore yesterday.
19 miles to, and 17 miles back (took a shortcut)

Please keep us updated!

According to the interwebz, it takes about the same amount of time you were off to get back to where you were. Be interesting to see what your experience is.
