I got my 100 in the first week of the month and just finished a 32.5 mile ride today (Sacramento to Folsom Lake).
https://cyclemeter.com/28e4da5c2b8f40...30727-1043?r=s
I was doing ~15.5mph until I hit the big uphill at the end (well, big for me).

A big milestone (half century) in the record book this week!
7/23: 19.4 miles
7/25: 14.5 miles
7/26: 14.6 miles - Hmm, same route as 7/25 but yet a tenth of a mile further???
7/27: 51.3 miles - Along the Erie Canalway. The longest bike ride I've ever done. The original plan was to ride the ~35 mile loop I've done many times before, but the weather was so great I decided to keep on going.
MTD: 238.1 miles (Goal: 300 miles. Three more days to go - I may actually make it!)
YTD: 659.5 miles (Goal: 1,000 miles. Right on track, I believe.

Headed out to a local trail to get in a longer ride today. Got in a solid 20 km and don't feel as exhausted afterwards as I did the first few times, with any luck I might be able to go for another full 20 km tomorrow.
July 28 - 20.6 km / 19.5 km/h moving average (held back by slowing for underpasses and passing people)
MTD - 310.9 km / 160 km
TTD - 333.9 km
At this rate I'm going to more than double my goal!

Quick spin because I haven't been on the bike for a few days and getting grumpy as a result. Wanted to test a theory about climbing hills, which related to a specific local hill. The theory kind of held out but it was harder work than I expected. Devilish headwinds for substantial parts of the ride, although the long straight back into town felt more like a TT blast with a nice tailwind.
Only 31 miles to hit my target, which I was all but giving up hope of ever making a few days back. Maybe I need to go visit my friend again and chalk up some more miles...

Well I had to get today's ride done in two parts, since I broke a spoke on my rear wheel after only 3.6 km today, headed straight to my LBS and they fixed it while I waited (under warranty), once I got back home I did another 11.4 km to bring today's total to 15 km. I probably could have done 20, but I wanted to save some strength for tomorrow when I'm going to be trying for 25+ km.

Did a one-way commute today, rode in, left the bike locked up safe and secure at work, and hopped the bus back home in the afternoon. Took a nap on that bus ride. Man it felt good! 41.1 miles and 932' of climbing today.

There are a bunch of heavy duty riders here that I can't compare to but today I set a new record for a month. I got my bicycle for Christmas and had a pretty good January (176 miles) but it dropped off in February and then continued to decline and I didn't ride any in May. I kept letting every little problem deter me, made a lot of excuses. Then in late June I sit down and had a long talk with myself and, believe it or not, that talk was partly occasioned by receiving a Clydesdale/Athena jersey and a 50+ jersey within a few days of each other. I rode several times in late June, doing a little less than 100 miles total. I have a goal of eight miles every time I ride and I have exceeded it every time I've ridden in July except once, riding six days a week except for a week when we were having home remodeling done. Today I passed two hundred miles (202.2) for the month, averaging about eleven miles each day I have ridden (18 days). That is a new record for me and one I will have to try to break in August.

Old Sarge good job! Milestones are a real personal type of thing, not worthwhile to compare yourself to others.

I did 24.7 yesterday and 26.9 today. These rides were on my hybrid, about half on a hilly gravel MUP in the town I am visiting. Today I actually was hoping for rain. I have no rain experience and wanted to try out rain clothes for a multiday tour I have coming up. It was raining as I got ready. I pulled out the bike and the rain stopped, never to start up again.
I am at 686 for the month, so I hope to reach 700. As it is, this is my best month ever. My year to date is 3223.
