Sometimes It's The Little Victories
While on my ride this morning, I actually saw four other cyclists out on the road. I'm happy to announce that I was only passed by one of them. He was a gentleman of significantly more years than I and he dropped me like a bad habit. It was a little depressing but, hey, what are you gonna do? The other three, on the other hand, were the victims of my wrath. I passed them so fast that you'd have thought they were standing still. The fact that we were going in opposite directions when I passed them is a detail that really needs not be quibbled over. I passed them fair and square and that's that. Yay me!

Thanks, y'all. I was so proud of me that I almost bought a Snickers but I didn't because I'm serious about my diet so I stuck with Skittles instead because Mmmmmmm, taste the rainbow!

I quit worrying if other people were faster than I am. Most of them should be!
I have to admit that I do enjoy it when somebody wizzes by me on his BSO as the light turns green. After a few blocks, some of them see the tortoise right behind them. Amazing how many look back and take the next right turn.

LOL on the opposite direction. In that case, I went on only my 3rd ride today. I don't see any other bikes since I'm out in the middle of nowhere on the road, but I did pass a big Dodge truck that was rumbling on about 50 mph. Passed a Buick, Chevy, and a Ford as well, but got smoked by a Toyota Camry since it was the 1 vehicle heading in the same direction as me
