Today I weighed in under 200lb for the first time in ...probably 30 years. That's 85 lb down from my high point. The best thing about this forum might be that those numbers are not unusual. I have come to believe that combining riding with a better diet is just about the best way on the planet to lose weight and get in shape.
According to current wisdom I won't be at a healthy weight till I'm at 180 (I'm 6'). I can hardly conceive of that, but even 200 seemed unreachable two years ago.
Thanks to everyone. I plan to continue hanging out here. I doubt I'll ever "not" feel like a clyde and maybe I can contribute to the continued conversation.
