Anyone using RunKeeper? (iPhone)

I believe I read about this app somewhere on these forums. It's free and lets you track/plan routes via GPS, lets you sync a heart rate monitor, shows total distance and elevation stats, etc. It will also let you track your weight and calories burned and send you reminders and kudos when you pass goals, if you so desire.

It's really helping me stay motivated and on track. Happy Cycling

I was but it wasn't tracking elevation well using my Android phone. I picked up a Garmin Forerunner 110 for tracking walks and bike rides, then upload to the Runkeeper web site. When doing that, I have to edit the activity to reflect what I ACTUALLY did as the import from the watch always reflects a running activity. I got mine on eBay and saved some cash. I haven't set up goals as changing the activity once it's uploaded screws with the system, I should have set MANY personal records for cycling but it's reflecting that.

Yep. I love it and it syncs seamlessly with My Fitness Pal, which I am using to track what goes in my pie hole.

I used it today and it works well. I am not sure I will use this or Strava as my primary ride tracking software yet. I rode over our only hill around here (an overpass) and it recorded the climb as 300 feet elevation. In may opinion anything that will track your rides probably will encourage you to ride which is good.
