Finally 50 km

Hit my first 50km ride in 2:28 today with a cat5 climb that i didn't stop on. While refilling my water bottle at a spring, someone there said "I didn't know Pandas can Cycle". They insulted the pandas not me, I outweigh most pandas..

Congrats on your first half metric century! Next up is an imperial half century (50-miles), right?

50miles? nah, 100km next. mapped out a bit flatter 50km loop to do next weekend; ordered a compact crank to replace my standard to help with the big hills.

Was a bit wiped from the big hill (for me) halfway through Elevation Chart, Grade Chart (about a 3.5% grade average over 3km, pedaled 10 and coasted for 2ft, then start again, took 25min to get up it, but never stopped) and took about 30min to stop sweating once i got home, but was fine. I did find that my back and arms were hurting more than i think they should going to get a proper fit on my bike done (think i need the handle bars moves up a bit). It did demonstrate to me that I can go a lot further than i think; breaks a mental barrier for me.

I did 40.38mi (64.985km) last weekend, does that mean I did a half metric century with a half twist or something? :D
