New record for me.

I've done a 41 km loop around my place 3 times now. First time took me 2 hours, 2nd time was about 1:50 and today I did it in 1:21. Very happy with this and it gives me a goal to keep trying to beat it. It averaged out to just under 30 kph.

What I was going to say...
25 Miles used to take me 2.5 hours to finish when I first started riding but I've improved that to exactly 2 hours, completing it in less than an hour and a half is one hell of an accomplishment, especially on a townie bike Any elevation changes within that distance?

30 kph = 18.6 mph for those of us south of the border (US-Canadian border that is).

What is the elevation gain/loss?

I'm thinking it had to be steeply downhill BOTH WAYS!
'cause that's DAMN FAST!

Congrats. I would be crowing about 14 mph for that distance, even if it was one way and downhill!

this wasn't done on my townie. I bought a new Trek project 1 bike. I live in the prairies so the elevation gain was minimal. I believe my garmin said 58' or 68'.
My heart rate average was 141.
I'm real happy with this as when I first got my comfort (townie) bike I had a hard time going 5 miles.
I now have a base time to keep trying to beat, however I wont try to beat it every time out. I really enjoy just going out for a bike ride.

68 feet? Lawdy, I can't even get out of my driveway with less than 68' and I wish I were kidding.

Maybe aim for 100' next time.
