Going on tour. All bets are off.
Last month. Goal
Commute 2 days a week= Total miles commute 140 goal
Long ride 47 miles on the weekend. Adding weight to trailer to get up to tour weight. Total miles with 234 goal
Total goal 374
Result
Total commuting miles = 132
Total tour miles = 170
To go= 25

These typhoons are making it impossible to do any biking. I biked 6 miles back for my commute from work in the pouring, cold, rain. Luckily it was going down the mountain and not going up the mountain.

Missed last month's goal by about 40 miles so I'm shooting for 300 again this month. No rides this month yet.

Got in a run on Sunday after visiting a friend then a warmup ride in the middle of Z2 yesterday. Man it's nice to see some hills.

I set my all time high with 637.8km last month, but I also had a week of holidays when I managed to get a few long rides in. So, I'm going to be aggressive, but not insanely so this month, and shoot for 600km.
I went backpacking with my son over the weekend, so no weekend rides to start the month, but father/son time is better than a few miles on the bike any day!

Up to about 40 miles in 3 days so for. Due to some saddle sores and general need of a day or two off, I'll be resting for a few days. The 100 degree Texas heat isn't helping either. Still going for 250

After being off the bike for 3 days with a sinus infection/sore throat/congested lungs, I got back on and rode 11 miles as a test to see if I would improve or relapse.

Took my Defy Comp 1 in for a fitting today so I did a recovery ride today to test the results. Feels good so far.

Bike felt really good today. Shorter rides today and tomorrow, with just an easy spin on Friday and Saturday off to prepare for my first 50km event ride on Sunday.
Guess I should up my goal for the month to 600km given the pace I'm already on.
