I'd shoot myself w/ a bow at that point Speaking of which do you have? Was looking at a Bowtech blk ops in the summer, there is a range about a mile from my work...but the money went to wheels instead
You're mental game is allot better then mine Plus my wife might have me stop n change diapers if I rode inside the house

Finished up the year with 11,192 miles and 478k ft of climbing. 588 of those miles were in December.
2013 was a good year. 2014 will be even better.
Happy New Year.

I shot for Hoyt.
When you are looking for a bow do like it's a bike... test drive many of them and then test drive them some more. A bow that feels right is what you should shoot. You also have to consider what you will be using the bow for. A target bow can mean a longer ATA and more brace height where a hunting bow can be shorter in both ATA an brace height.
N+1 works with bows as well

The guy at the shop said it would take a few hours to get a number of bows setup with draw etc ect bla bla bla over my new head that after that I'd feel obligated to purchase something. Gun are much easier, just have to wait the 10days here in Cali for them. Finding normal priced ammo is the depressing part.....

1200 mile is a mental case...its a lot more miles than I'd like to be on a trainer but when it's 20 out and windy it's not easy to work a plan.
I shot for Hoyt.

Trying out a lot of bows is pretty easy if you're right eye dominant and use a RH bow. I'm left eye dominant and I haven't found a shop that has lefties to demo. That's not a big deal now, because I'm riding a lot and put archery on the back burner. A guys only got so much free time.

Like golf there is more right handed equipment available hence many folk use the "wrong" set. Doesn't mean you can't become proficient at it....
