Looking for a new saddle!

Hi, I've been looking into buying a new saddle because my stock saddle is starting to hurt. I'm a rather big rider with a broad width. I'm only 5'5 at about 210. My hips are some what wide. Does anybody have a suggestions for a new saddle? I know they are person preference and all but I would like some suggestions into what to look into. Please and thank you!

It may not be the saddle but rather not enough time/miles under your belt to strengthen your muscles. How often do you ride? How long have you been riding?

i ride every monday, thursday, saturday, and sunday.
Mon/Thurs-22 miles each
Sat/Sun-100 miles total. (50+/- per ride)

So over 100 miles a week for 5 months?

Sounds like you need a new saddle.

What kind of bike?

I'd suggest finding a shop that will let you demo saddles. I know Rock N Road will let you try Fizik or Specialized saddles, but they charge a weekly rental fee (applied to purchase price). That's how I ended up on my current saddle.

I can't see a link to the saddle you are using. I'm a big guy, and I swear by my ISM Typhoon Saddles. I have them on both bicycles and my Spin Bike.

I was able to rent the saddle for a week, before I made my decision. Too expensive to just start buying something until you find the right one.

I might also suggest getting a Bike-Fit if you have a place to do it. This also made a world of difference in my comfort. The fit was the best $200 I have ever spent!

I heard Specialized makes some nice comfort fit saddles. Incycle in Chino does the fitting for saddles so im going to check them out soon. Lucky for me that this weekend is my recovery week (its my birthday guys!) so i should be getting myself a little present hehe.

But incase you are wondering, I'm currently on a 2012 52cm Cannondale CAAD 10.
