Sebastian wants to but I have a potential scheduling conflict that should be resolved tomorrow. If it is then we will be doing it.

Nice! I think I"m going to bequeath my old garmin to Robert and get him to start following Sebastian. He needs the motivation. They're just going 25 this year though.

Provided the wind isn't like 2 years ago I'll be doing the century. Staying at the Spa Resort Casino, leaving at 6:45 to try and beat some of the crowd.

And loved you are my friend! Not to worry, we'll ride together at the marathon crash race (assuming I figure out a way to get there and back without driving).

I was considering it, but it's not in the cards this year.

TJ, last year they clamped down on people leaving at 6:45. You could either leave at 6:30 or 7, although I'm sure you could go rogue if you really wanted to. It was kind of nice rolling out in a huge group with cops at every intersection though...
And God help us if it's as windy as it was 2 years ago. I've heard stories. (shudder)

He wants to do it on the singles without his sister holding him back
She has no interest as she says " I have done it once and no longer have anything to prove" damn 16 year old girls!

Yeah, you could probably start in West By God Virginia and still beat me to the finish. You'd like the ride though, it's super hilly. Almost 3k of climbing in 100 miles.

I had originally planned on doing it. The three angioplasties and four stents that I had put in from October through December sort of threw a monkey wrench in my training program. So this year I will skip Palm Springs.
I am happy to report, however, that I have been going on longer rides and I feel much better.
I will do the LB TdC (maybe only the metric century, don't want to go through that 40 mile sufferfest at the end) and the Cruisin' the Conejo. You guys (and gals) are welcome to do those rides.

Doing Solvang This year. May do TdPS next year. The Cardio theme of the Solvang ride appeals to me for personal reasons, though Palm Springs sounds like a lot of fun.

I think I'm going to skip Solvang this year but it was a really nice ride last year. Hard too. What do you mean by cardio? the SCOR group? They seem to meet right here in my home town and I do see them out riding around from time to time.
I'll be interested to hear your feedback on the ride this year - they seem to be limiting registration and the price seems to have gone up. Pretty well supported but thumbs down for no nosh after the ride. (You can pay $20 for bbq chicken)
