I have been under 200 for several months but I still think this is the best forum! I feel if you are still over your goal this is the place to be.

Congrats! I got under 200 early last summer but I still post in this forum. I'm still heavy although nowhere near 200 anymore, and still slow over the bars so I figure I'm safe here than in the more "hardcore" cycling forums

Haha! Thanks...I'm sure I'll be up/down around it (200...) for a bit. My goal weight is 190 by early Fall....
I was surprised..It's taken FOREVER, 2 & 1/2 months...to drop from 205...
Now I have Spring to look forward to...
Yeah, this is a pretty cool forum.

You're still here?
Meh, I think clyde is a mindset... even if I (eventually) break 200, it won't be one of those things that I can check off as accomplished. It will require constant vigilance to stay there, which makes me a clyde forever as far as I'm concerned.

Wow....I cannot believe all these non-clydes coming out of the closet on this thread.
And all this time I thought you guys were fat like me.
Congrats...keep up the good work. I hope to be there myself......soon. The scale keeps telling me I am heading in the right direction.
Best Regards,
John S

Exactly how I feel. Even at 186 (down from 267) I have been heavy more than not, and I'll never feel that I can completely let my guard down.

"check your batteries" got a big laugh. I'm also no longer technically a clyde. I've dropped 100lb and I am aware of it constantly when I do something I could not have come close to doing two years ago but in some sense I still feel as if I am super over weight. It feels very very odd to rub my shoulder and feel bones. There is some interesting baggage for people that have lost a lot of weight, eh? Regardless of that, congrats.

Congrats on your non-"Clyde-ness" weight achievement!!!!
However, since I have way more than enough on the scale to cement me in the "Clyde" distinction for quite awhile, I offer you an honorary 20lbs to keep you here (and I'll *still* be easily in the Clyde range!).
