BRAVO - Nothing but pride and happiness for ya...

Erwin8r 03-12-14 01:37 AM

Pure awesomeness!! The snobs over at the 41 will still call you a Clyde, so just keep hanging out. Lol.

Turzy 03-12-14 03:46 AM

Bravo !

Rowan 03-12-14 04:05 AM

I've cracked it too, in the past two weeks, but it won't stop me posting here.

mrodgers 03-12-14 05:16 AM

Awesome! Hope to be there in summer if not by the beginning of summer. It's been a long winter....

IAMAMRA 03-12-14 06:56 AM

I have been under 200 for several months but I still think this is the best forum! I feel if you are still over your goal this is the place to be.

lenA 03-12-14 07:32 AM

Good going!

ChiefTJS 03-12-14 10:34 AM

I cracked it a while back too, feels great to hit a major goal. Big congrats!!!

MikeRides 03-12-14 10:59 AM

Congrats! I got under 200 early last summer but I still post in this forum. I'm still heavy although nowhere near 200 anymore, and still slow over the bars so I figure I'm safe here than in the more "hardcore" cycling forums :)

eja_ bottecchia 03-12-14 11:43 AM

Check your scale's batteries....

But seriously, congrats. :thumb:

Pakiwi 03-12-14 12:27 PM

Congratulations. Great to see.
Do other threads offer the support that you get here.

spdracr39 03-12-14 12:28 PM

Congrats to you I have 14.6 lbs to go :)

Zoxe 03-12-14 06:38 PM

I am another former clyde, coming up on a year under 200 ... altho at 6'3" I guess I will always qualify. Congrats, but keep posting. :)

OneLessFixie 03-12-14 07:40 PM

YESSS! A thousand congratulations!

I'm sure I can speak for the other clydes when I implore you to stay and be an inspiration for the rest of us.

UnfilteredDregs 03-12-14 10:00 PM

Haha! Thanks...I'm sure I'll be up/down around it (200...) for a bit. My goal weight is 190 by early Fall....

I was surprised..It's taken FOREVER, 2 & 1/2 months...to drop from 205...

Now I have Spring to look forward to...

Yeah, this is a pretty cool forum.

TrojanHorse 03-12-14 10:36 PM

You're still here?

Meh, I think clyde is a mindset... even if I (eventually) break 200, it won't be one of those things that I can check off as accomplished. It will require constant vigilance to stay there, which makes me a clyde forever as far as I'm concerned.

bbeasley 03-12-14 11:05 PM

Wow, way to go!

I think TH has it right.

Cycle Babble 03-13-14 05:42 AM

Wow....I cannot believe all these non-clydes coming out of the closet on this thread. :thumb:
And all this time I thought you guys were fat like me.

Congrats...keep up the good work. I hope to be there myself......soon. The scale keeps telling me I am heading in the right direction.

Best Regards,
John S

Exactly how I feel. Even at 186 (down from 267) I have been heavy more than not, and I'll never feel that I can completely let my guard down.

digibud 03-13-14 08:49 AM

"check your batteries" got a big laugh. I'm also no longer technically a clyde. I've dropped 100lb and I am aware of it constantly when I do something I could not have come close to doing two years ago but in some sense I still feel as if I am super over weight. It feels very very odd to rub my shoulder and feel bones. There is some interesting baggage for people that have lost a lot of weight, eh? Regardless of that, congrats.

PolarBear007 03-13-14 08:59 AM

Congrats on your non-"Clyde-ness" weight achievement!!!!

However, since I have way more than enough on the scale to cement me in the "Clyde" distinction for quite awhile, I offer you an honorary 20lbs to keep you here (and I'll *still* be easily in the Clyde range!).
