Just Getting into the game

Currently weighing in at 220 pounds, have never cycled before but it was the best option for a kid with bad knees! I have fallen in love with it and have set my weight loss goals for 190 pounds, hopefully in a year. I know I wont shed it like watr but heres hoping! Riding a Norco Valence a4. Good beginner bike for someone currently doing 40 km a day(roughly 20 miles).

Riding is the only way I have found to get fit and loose weight. I loose interest in anything else real fast. Your bike looks like a good ride. Nearly all modern bikes with good components will give great service. The most important thing is if it fits you and if you like it.
Keep on ridin!
