I did the family ride with my wife 2 years ago, trying to get her into cycling and we both did the 30 miler last year...she was not able to do the ride this year so I had planned on the century, but the route happened to go through some sketchy road with some construction which I did not like, so I decided to ride the 62.5 instead that morning as did quite a few others.
