Do we have a voice on ****** ?
Just curious. There are a bunch of cycling groups and weight loss groups but I have not found 1 single sub****** there for just us.
Not sure how the rest of you feel about ****** but I figured I would ask.

We need a "What is ******" choice or a "do we really need another social networking site" choice.

Facebook is ok but I am sure there are many who don't really want to give out as much info as Facebook attempts to make us. As for ******, it can be as open or as anonymous as a person wants it to be and, IMO, posting and commenting is much easier (well, defined and whatnot anyways).
I have no problem coming here, so many VERY nice people I look forward to getting to know better.. but I spend a ton of time on ****** so I was hoping there was a way to merge the 2 somehow. Not really a big deal or anything

I kind of know what ****** is. I do not use it, and have a twitter account that I have not used since the day I opened it. Almost all of my social networking is user forums like this, Strava, and occasional brief forays into Facebook, until I can't stand the rantings (Some from the left, but most from the right) of some of the social network, that is mostly my wife's. She's in FB daily.

Yeah, I have a Facebook page but rarely use it other than to send messages to my son across state or my Uncle up north. ******, it has a bit of everything.. all characterized by "sub******" (section)
I try and avoid all the political nonsense and people who rant about it on my Facebook wall get put on ignore so I no longer see their stuff. The way I see it, we all have our views.. and nobody cares what yours is lol.

I voted "yes" but now having gone to the ****** site for the first time, I have a question....just what exactly is the purpose of ******? To me, there was no rhyme or reason to it. Maybe I'm too old to "get it." LOL

Took me a bit to get it when I first heard about ******. When you first go there, what you see is a bunch of nonsense and mostly from sections none of us would care about. Once you sign up (or create a random name), you can edit it to just show you the sections that interest you. For me, I only see the section where I do logos and designs for people, a "funny" section where they post some of the most stupid things I have ever seen, and the section for my city (most decent size cities have their own section).
