Clyde No Mo

After 3 years I finally got below 200! For the last 10 days I've been 199 or less. Now on to my goal weight of 162.

Many thanks to you guys for supporting me in my recovery journey.

Congrats.

Awesome! I am struggling to get there myself... appreciate the inspiration!

mrodgers 06-12-14 09:44 AM

That's awesome! Can't wait for myself. 20 lb. I don't seem to be losing very fast now. I've only just recently got rid of the Christmas 5 lb. rise.

Black wallnut 06-12-14 03:46 PM

Congrats Ursa Minor! I'm chasing you, only 17 pounds to go then I'll no longer be a clyde.

Ursa Minor 06-12-14 04:29 PM

Thanks all. This forum was a big factor in my staying on track.

Well done!

If your experience is anything like mine, you will get some well intentioned but senseless comments from those around you about a potential relapse. Ignore them; keep fighting. The best way to shut them up is to keep the weight off one day at a time. :)

ChiefTJS 06-12-14 07:00 PM

Great job!!! I love to see success stories.

Congrats, I am pretty much at the same point.

I still find myself reading through these threads because often the information for a 230 lb rider is more pertinent for my body then the information for a guy that is 150.

But seriously, I think I remember when you first came over here. What a colossal lifestyle change. Well done, sir.

Welcome to the Cruiserweight Division.
http://www.bikejournal.com/images/La...a_Bud_Lite.jpg

Cruiserweight is a weight class in cycling for us now smaller than Clydesdale.

The division was established in order to accommodate cyclists whose goal may not be race cut jersey shape, but have ridden their weight down below 200 pounds.
