Just wondering if anyone from Louisville, KY is on here. Interested in finding a riding group in town.

HiLvlbike
I'm just across the river in Clark County. I am definitely an Athena and getting bigger everyday. I have yet to be on my bike this year. Maybe you can encourage me. I do work nights, ten hour shifts. I'm blaming my laziness on that.

I'm on here a lot and I've seen a few other locals. I ride solo but I see groups around, this is such a bike-friendly town. On the Louisville Bike Club website there are group rides posted for every single day and they have a difficulty rating so you can select appropriately.

I ride at Iroquois Park and the Louisville Loop out off the Greenbelt. Usually just do between 10-20 mile rides, that's about all my hybrid is good for.

This is a GREAT idea. If you can get a group together, you'll have more fun than riding alone and the accountability is cool, too.
I'm in the process of planning a C/A ride out here in SoCal. We don't do it really often, but when we do, it's a blast!

I'm a clyde and am envious of the great opportunities you have in Louisville to ride. I have ridden the Beckley portion of the loop and was amazed at how nice it was. I live in Bowling Green and travel quite a bit, usually with my bike on the back of the car and take advantage of any opportunity to ride. Be it rails to trails or municipal mups. Brentwood in Tennessee has some wonderful areas to ride also. You should not have any problem getting folks together for a friendly ride.
