Beat the Damn Hill

After 7 times I can now say I climbed the hill that I had to stop on at least once.
It's a category 4 climb and gets over 20% in places. It wasn't pretty and my heart hit 184 but I beat it.
Just took time and a few practices every second week.

Yes! Thanks for the inspiration, I've got one of those monster hills on one of my routes.

To be honest if your riding your ahead of most people that sit and don't do anything.
Trust me I have a long way to go but I will celebrate any small victories along the way. I left a message with the Lbs owner as he said I vet you can do it before the end of the year and wanted to celebrate with me when I did it.
Hopefully will enjoy a beer with him Wednesday on the point ride.

Congrats!

And someday I'll join you in conquering those damnable things called hills by the polite folks.

A "Hilly" ride @ 103'/mi with an avg speed of 11.8 mph.
Well done. You've progressed nicely. Is the data correct for the Copenhafer South segment? Cadence seems way low.

Won't have any of those dang hills at Seagull.

No I don't think cadence is correct. When my speed drops to a certain speed it stops counting cadence. I know it gets down to 50 for the steepest parts but is around 70 - 90 for the remainder.
Yes no hills for seagull.
