3rd organized century - lost an hour

So 2 years ago I attempted a century ride, in fact there is a thread here called "Clyde on a Century", and I did it. My moving time was around 6 hours and 50 minutes, the following year did the same organized century and finished in about the same time (I think 10 minutes slower but it was 8 miles longer).

This year, new bike, lots of miles under my butt, I wanted to get the ride done in under 6 hours moving time. Well Strava crashed 3 times and I forgot to start it at one point, but I did 109 miles in 5:45 according to my cycle computer which is relatively accurate (within a 1/4 mile distance wise). Averaged 17.2 over the whole trip.

According to Strava my 75% speed was 20.1 but that was 8 miles short because of the crashes.

2 years ago I would have never had thought I could do that distance in that time, but it has been really cool to learn from others on the C&A board.

Next year the goal is 100 miles in under 5 hours.

Oh and I was REPPIN' my fellow C&A members in our jersey, which got a ton of compliments. I totally didn't take a picture of me in it tho.....DOH!

Congrats! You were definitely flyin' on that bike, I only hope I can complete my first century in under 8 hours this weekend (if at all, I've had a series of bad luck with tubes going flat recently)

That's flying. Here I was happy finishing my 2nd century in 8:02. Looks like I need to get on the bike more. Congratulations on the new personal best.
