Thank you Clydes/Athenas for making this sub forum great!

For the last year I've been here, I've pretty much stuck to posting in and reading this forum for the most part. A friend of mine turned me on to it and it has been a great source of info and more importantly support as I've started into the cycling and weight loss world. The folks here are great.

Recently, I decided to venture out into some of the other sub forums on BikeForums and found them to be well... no where near as friendly and supportive as the folks here. It has made me really appreciate the great group of folks that support this corner of BikeForums.

Thanks again for making the Clyde/Athena section a welcoming and friendly place for cyclists.

We all come here for our own reasons. I like it here as well. I like reading of members victories of increasing distance, duration or slimming waistelines. Also glad there is less snark here than elsewhere. I admit though sometimes it is entertaining to read the snark. Sometimes my matter of fact way of posting is interpreted as snark. Glad you are here @Jarrett2 as you have stimulated some good discussion.

Good post. C&A has always been my "home" forum here at BF, even though I don't post here these days as much as I'd like to. The help and support here is the primary reason I lost 78 pounds since joining BF a mere 3 years ago. Everybody here does a great job making people feel at home.

I agree .. I love it here, I check in several times a day and read almost every post (I think I may have a problem) I also read a lot on the 50+ forum and agree that it is a pretty supportive crowd. I am a total snark-a-holic and will usually go out of my way to run my piehole but this group is so good and I am and will probably always be a clyde too, so I come here to support and be supported, I can get my fill of snark over on the 41 if I'm running low. ALL HAIL CLYDES AND ATHENAS

same here, I love the place.
I remember when I joined last year; I was thinking about getting back into riding bikes to help with the weightloss. I also remember reading @Jarrett2 's thread "safe bike for 365lbs"...You, sir, are an inspiration to me, thank you (well you and many others of course )
And thank you to anyone and everyone in C/A for making this place such a subforum.
