    A FIRST for me!

These are the shorts I received in the pay-it-forward thread. All can say is Awesome!

If I had know how comfortable these are to ride in, the baggy shorts would have been history a long time ago!

Just goes to show you that cycling wardrobe is more function over fashion. If only we had more body padding, we'd look as cool as football players. Pretty much the same, otherwise, haha.

Cycling specific clothing and clipless pedals are usually a hardsell that folks often are happy that they tried them.

That's ironic, because I'm completely the opposite

I am much more comfortable now in street clothes and on platform pedals than I was in cycling-specific clothing and spd's/toe clips.

I would much rather battle a 30mph headwind in form fitting shorts/jersey and SPD's.

Well, yeah, if you live in an area where 30mph winds are common.

Yeah. On a fat bike trudging through the woods, street clothes and platforms may even work better for some.

Sarcasm noted. However, I am not on a fat bike trudging through the woods. Some people are more comfortable in cycling clothing, like yourself and the OP. Some are more comfortable in street clothes. This should not be a big shock to you.

FYI, there are still a few pairs available if anyone can squeeze into a Falconi size XL and wants to give bib shorts a try...
