A bit chilly in the morning, enough that our Breakfast Ride was changed to a Lunch Ride. 40s early on, but up to about 60 by the time I got home. Very nice for this time of year.

No - I don't know him or his story, but he deserves an attaboy for going for the gusto. Found the photo on Google, & couldn't resist posting it. I should be right at 200 miles for the month after this afternoon's ride.

First time on the bike since jan 4th.

After a long hesitation between trainerroad and turbotraining, I finally decided to give turbotraining a try. I will probably give trainerroad a try at a later time though.
What got me was the workout program from turbotraining was more what I was looking for.

So today I did 10.4 km in 34 min.

If anyone feels like giving any of them a try, go ahead, they seem to make trainer sessions much easier too

Down on mileage this last week. Nasty Santa Ana winds on Saturday kept me indoors using my wife's trainer and other activities today limited my ride time:

1/22 - 12.35
1/24 - 21.5 (trainer)
1/25 - 17.5

MTD 502.35

My bike finally came in so if we're including trainer miles (which I don't feel too terrible about since it's set to max resistance and feels to me, comparing gear to effort, like riding up a mild grade the whole time; meaning light spins are in a low gear; thus a very low speed; thus little distance covered), I'm at 15 miles.

Not to sell myself short but I'm thinking I might not catch up. Ha! Although that IS only 12 miles a day, and if I get to count the trainer... hmmm....

1/21 1:45 on the trainer
1/24 44.4 miles
1/25 2 hours on the trainer

Don't have my month-to-date totals handy but I'm at about 27 hours combined indoors and outdoors, so I'll come in a little short of my goal of 40 hours.

NICE, you're doing a better job than myself!!! I'm only at 250m/15.3k vertical. FAR FAR from the 40k I wanted. I'll be lucky for 25k vertical if I have a good weekend
