Unfortunately this is a known bug with TrainerRoad and inRide. I've talked to them about it, they know about it, and they are looking into it. You can see it happened to me twice during this ride. It's pretty annoying.

I like the numbers for the 'anerobic capacity 22' interval. NP = 1483.

Interesting... Are you using BLE or ANT+? Are you also using the inRider pod as your power meter? When I connect the inRider pod via BLE to my mac, it links without issue. but when I peddal, I get no power ratings. My other sensors, HR and Cadence work fine. I wasn't able to get the inRider to work. but I can try again this week.
How I felt last week. I wasn't sure how long it was going to take me to finish the test. but I dropped the FTP to 75 and only pushed during the 2x8 intervals and was able to finish. I acutally didn't think i was going to finish when I started. i just figured i would try to go as long as I could. It was a hard push but I made it. This test was the first one in the base level. So, one down for the week. Doing a different one tonight.
I was wondering if you was going to do an FTP test or not. Now that you have it, make sure TrainerRoad has it set up. All of your intervals will be based on that. Like IBOHUNT says, retest every month as your progress through your training. You'll see results in no time.
Have fun!

No one does well on their first ftp test. No one I know has anyway. Dont sweat what the numbers are, its just a reference line for how intense the workout is. Its only relative to your fitness, now what others set theirs at.
If your doing the base plan, the workouts should not be challenging. In other words they need to be a pushed, but not oh my god I cant stand this pace for this time. I say start riding the workouts, see how you feel after a week, and raise / lower your ftp based on that. If you get through them and dont feel you were pushed to a 7 out of 10, maybe raise the ftp 15 or 20 and try next week.
Get a few weeks to a month under your belt, learn how your going to react to specific loads, and then do a real retest.

Well I managed to make it through another session. Few things I found out. I was able to run the inRider app along with the TR app and log on both. However.. The inRider app will not find the inRider app if it's paired with another app first. I have to pair with inRider first, then launch the TR app. And setting up the inRider app in free mode and uploading that to Strava automatically works perfectly xfering cadence,HR, power, and speed. But inRider app measures power lower than TR. Below is the TR vs Strava upload from inRider. I guess all in all, it doesn't really matter. Taking the FTP test with TR gives me a base number and changes are based off changes from that base number. it wouldn't have to be accurate, but just a starting point.

A number is just a number. As long as you are basing your FTP on what Trainer Road has it at and you are riding the workouts on Trainer Road using their values then it's all good... provided the output is consistent. 100W today should not be 110W tomorrow.
My Stages number is different than my Powertap and is different than a CompuTrainer. Not off by as much as your two values (20% for Sweet Spot1) but some.

Since you have a Kurt Kinetic trainer, all you need to do is send speed readings to Trainer Road. Set it up to use virtual power and tell it which trainer you have. I use the Garmin GSC-10 which delivers speed and cadence via ANT+. It works well as long as you don't let the batteries get too low.

I'm using ANT+. If you're running TrainerRoad on a computer you should use ANT+, too. BLE really only make sense if you're trying to communicate with a smartphone or tablet, IMO.

It'd be nice if the TR app had the spin down calibration built in, apparently it's on the todo list. For now, it's a bit of a pain but here's what I do to make sure my Watts output is correct and calibrated:
1) Start the TR plan, go for 10 minutes (most of this will be warm up). This warms up the Kinetic, so the calibration will be right.
2) At 10 minutes, finish the training on the TR app. Close the app (i.e. double click home button, fling the app away)
3) Open the inRide app, do the spin down calibration, end that, close the app.
4) Open the TR app, go to Career, open the ride you just started, press the three dots and click "Finish Ride"
From that point you can pick up the rest of the training with calibration in place.
As I said, a pain in the butt, but it works.
BTW you can upload files from TR's website into Strava. You shouldn't have to use the inRide app for anything other than the spin down calibration (and hopefully soon that will go away).

When you're doing your FTP test, you need to pace yourself or you will burn out and drop your FTP. You want to push hard but not too hard especially early on on the test.

Yeah, I found this out the hard way. First time I took the test, I kept it at the default of 200 FTP and had to stop before I even got to the intervals. Second time, I was able to finish and I did feel like I was pushing pretty hard but might have been able to give a bit more effort. will test again in a month or so. Just the thought about doing the test again doesn't sound fun. But in a month, I am hoping my sit bone doesn't bug me so much. need more saddel time.

Well I am using the inRider app in tamdem in free mode because it logs speed/distance from the POD where TR reads it, they don't upload it to their site or Strava. I do have the BlueSC but haven't installed it yet. Once I do that, I can prob just use TR. But it annoys me because they have the data and choose not to use it.

Give iMobileIntervals a look. It connects to Strava and TrainingPeaks and it uploads the data you are looking for. I have my training plan on TraningPeaks and I use that to create to the workout on iMobileInterval's website. When I'm ready to do the workout I download it to my iPad and go.

Do you know if the Kinetic inRide sensor works with this program? Do you know if it takes the speed recording from the inride sensor and uploads those? The native inRide app also uploads to TP and Strava and dropbox which is nice with all the data. They just don't have but a few training sessions. Which is why I was interested in TR. They are already laid out and planned out for me.
It would be interesting as to what they say.

Maybe we should branch this off into a different thread so that others knows about it.

Good stuff. I think your time *might* be better spent on the bike. I see nothing in your Trainer Road account since Jan 15th.
When you coming out this way? We could spend an hour here:

Why'd you have to drag me into this one? I don't even own a trainer, although if the temperatures stay in the 60s, I might have to think about it. I heard we might get a tenth of an inch of rain too. Brr.
Well, Salreus, as IBOHUNT alluded, I can't even get out of my driveway without about 200 feet of climbing. And then to get back home, it's just as bad because I live on one side of a divided street smack in the middle of a hill. Can't win. It kept me off the bike for damn near 8 years because Clydes can't climb amirite?
Then I discovered that compact cranks were actually smaller rings, not smaller cranks. What a blessing. Keep after those hills, you'll get to the point where they still suck but you can make it all the way up.
