February 99+ mile club
Hey y'all it is a short month! My goal is 500 miles, half of which I hope are outside. January was mostly inside but now that the weather should be getting better where I live it is time to start outside. Nothing epic planned for the month for me. What are your goals?

My goal is 32 hours total training time for the month, with as much outdoors as I can get. I've been doing a lot of base training in zones 1 and 2 so this month I want to increase the intensity just a little, too.

Even if I think I'll do more than what I'm aiming for, I'm setting a goal of a 100 km this month, all on the trainer.
And a 4 lbs weightloss, which would put me at 322 on march 1st

It's a short month and I have some business travel planned that will cut into my riding. But on the plus side I also have the Palm Springs century on the 14th. I'll say 400 miles.

I am trying to do the low base plan on TR which is 14 hrs. That is my goal with a few 30 min extras thrown in. Not sure how many indoor miles that will be. But I did over 40 last week. So I should hit 160+ I hope.

Even though the month is two or three days shorter than the other months of the year I am going to shoot for 125 miles again this month. I did hit 110.5 (mostly on the simulator last month, and did drop some pounds, but it was of my own accord that I missed the last 15 miles of last months goal.

I'm up to 220lbs, heaviest I've ever been. I think I'm going to try to hit 225 then go on my first cut.
I got a ton of biking in January. Did two centuries, commuted car free the entire month, and did a lot of medium length pleasure rides on the weekends. Didn't keep exact count but I'd guess anywhere from 600 to 800 miles. 100% of them being outside. Loving this snow & ice free "winter" in Charlotte.

Got out for a couple miles down to the river and back. Starting of February with 4 miles and 1k ft of climbing. Love to go down to the river and explore.
Remnants of old roadbed that runs along the river. Only a few sections left that haven't been washed out by floods of decades past.
Open mine shaft. Didn't go in since I really don't like bats and am sure there are plenty just inside.
View of the river 1,000 feet below from the top of the trail.

I'm in and shooting for a 200 mile low end goal for the month but would really like to get 400 total for the month. Finished January and started February sick so probably not much riding this week

Put me in for 240...
Just made last months 240. Ankle's healed up a good bit but still gives me trouble time to time. I have to do as much as I can but can't afford to re-injure it. My boots are helping...

I start this month with the final stage of the Tour of Sufferlandria and ISLAGIATT. 1 HOUR 56 MINUTES on the trainer for 28.9 miles. Not much planned for the rest of the week. Some super easy active recovery rides. It has been a brutal last 15 days.

2/1 2 hours on the trainer. Felt a little sore at the start but loosened up as I went along.

My goal was going to be an hour on the stationary bike every day. Already fell behind by day two though.
Gonna change that to ~100 "go-nowhere" indoor miles, to save my sanity (ice, snow, and freezing temps outside doesn't intrigue me to ride outdoors yet). Going to try starting my outdoor season on March 1st this year, despite last year waiting until the end of March when the snow/ice was completely gone. If it means sweat pants, shirt, two jackets, hat, and gloves then so be it.

I'm aiming for 100 trainer miles per week right now. I did it with 2 miles to spare last week! Some travel will cut into this, so I'll set a goal right now for 300 trainer miles this month. I hope that I can get some outdoor riding, but the forecast high temperatures aren't looking too temping.
EDIT: 28.9 miles yesterday, I forgot yesterday was February.

A nice, even 4 weeks. This year February is a nice, neat month, starting on a Sunday, ending on a Saturday. I'm going for 50 miles a week, to total 200 miles. I may adjust this upward, if I keep up what I've been doing. But we'll see.
We'll start with Sufferfest: The Hunted; which I did last night, and came to 16.9 miles.

I'm shooting for 400-500 miles this month but I got some medical procedures to go through first. Let's what I can get accomplished.
