naisme. the picture of the falls is quite good. I hope it's a night scene, because that's the way it looks. On your commute, do you always carry all that gear?

Richard, Tis a fine and lovely set of pictures ye be sharing with the rest of the poor envious buggers who fight the good fight against motorists and congested roads.

Thanks to both you fellows for sharing.

The shot of the falls is at night. I usually do the other half of my commute at night, and am able to catch the scenes.

I was limited by what I could post here. I forgot that I had to produce smaller size pics for the commute pictures. I think I have some with trash and potholes, even trains too.

As for carring gear. I had to do some carrying for that day. I didn't have a picture of the commuter so I shot it loaded. Usually I try and make do with the trunk. Often I carry books and extra clothing in one pannier. I enjoy carrying the digital camera on the bars. It's handy all the time.

Cool pix, Iowa.

Man, I'm moving. I'll snap some shots of my commute hopefully soon, but shots of broken glass and rude garbage truck drivers won't compare to yours, or to the pix of earlier postings.

I love using my new camera, and I love cycling, but....

It sucks to stop riding to take a picture. I turned a 50 minute commute to 90 minutes.

I'll be joining you in Faversham soon Richard,

We've got a move in date for the 16th August (1 week after we're married)...can't wait to meet up and you can show me a few of your bike routes!

Cheers

The last few commutes have been straight down the less picturesque A2, but I'll show you the other routes if you promise not to let on if I walk any of the hills
