    No, winds blows, gusts and buffets. Wind is like a hill without a soul. Gear down and suffer. Or in my case, mt biking near wind driven snow drifts, wind blows and then your helmet is under the snow.

    the low pressure area , and the hotter air Pulls the higher pressure area's air to equalize and replace It

    Where it's Good for Windsurfing and Kite flying will be more work in one direction but good fun downwind.

    Start your day's ride into the wind , then the return trip will be less work.

    Head wind sucks, but side wind (esp. sudden gusts) is dangerous when there are vehicles passing by.
