Has anyone used or heard this? I ride in the Old City a lot which is full of peds with earphones meandering in the streets. How about any other LOUD horns, bell, or other siginaling devices?

EDIT: The lickbike site says it's 110db.

I don't think that will work on handlebars with dropouts, otherwise nice idea. I have "adjusted" my brakes so that they make an aweful squawking sound like a gaggle of geese. Actually, I just installed new brake pads and failed to adjust them. Funny, the pads usually wear down and the squeeling goes away, not this time. I've been squawking to my hearts content. It's a beautiful noise. And now with the good weather, and all the car windows open, everyone hears me. Also works great with sidewalk cafes!

I use the Airzound it is rated to 115db. Search on google or check this site out: https://www.deltacycle.com/airzound/hornframe.php

It is really great to get the attention of a motorist backing out of a driveway or peds who won't move... Although I would recommend using is only when you really have to...

Keep Cycling,

Keep Cycling,
Does the AirZound come with a horn that's easy and quick to attach and remove? I leave my bike locked up on the street a lot.

Keep Cycling,
I use the Airzound as well and, believe me, it's LOUD! Problem is, most don't recognize the sound as a bike horn. I wouldn't say it is easy to remove as it has a thumb-depressor/horn that requires a screw-driver and a separate plastic container with compressed air (you can refill with a pump). It's not attractive to thieves unless you park in a dark, isolated spot.

Is the bottle detachable from the horn? I park on a rather busy street corner, people seem to like to futz wiht stuff while they are waiting for the light to change...

hi Ziemas, YES they appear to be easily removable from the bike. I have the older version, and it is easily removable from bike. Mine is similar - not exactly the same, with a metal bottle of compressed air. It refills like a bike tire. Seems to be marketed under different labels, and this one looks like it has an adjustable volume control, mine doesn't but I just point mine forward, so not as loud towards me.

I wouldn't dream of riding without my airzounds. You can unclip the horn, and take it and the permanently attached bottle with you. I just leave mine on. I duct-taped the bottle to the frame, so it won't come off very easily. We don't have a big problem with bike thieves around here, but I'd rather they take the horn than the whole bike.
