I'd much rather forget underpants than trousers. I'd just go commando and be fine with it. But having to work all day in my sweaty lycra - ick.

Why would you wear your cycling shorts under your pants all day? yuk. Do they have inspections to make sure you're wearing underwear?

Well like I said earlier, my boys need a home. It wasn't a perfect home, but any port in a storm.

I normally go sans shoes outside of work or on the bike. As such I leave my work shoes at the office. However twice I have left them in my car for some reason and didn't have them at work. The first time my wife brought them for me. The second time (recently) I just wore my Bontrager SSR shoes at work all day, which was no big deal really.

That is awesome. I am pretty sure I would have to do the same. There are no places near me to get pants that easily.

Those are pretty cool how do you like having laces on cycling shoes? how stiff are they? how easy to walk in them are they?

The laces are slightly annoying but the velcro strap keeps them in check. Pretty easy to walk in, almost like normal shoes. The cleats only crunch on outdoor pavement. On indoor smooth floors they are silent.

I'm looking for new shoes at the moment, those look decently ventilated. Do they come in wide widths, or at least not run narrow in their sizing?

I don't think they have varying widths. However I normally wear minimalist wide-toebox shoes at work, and these don't seem to crowd my toes really. What looks like mesh are indeed mesh inserts. You can look inside the shoe and see light coming in. Ventilation is excellent.

Best thing is that I got them during a special club-only event at the LBS for about $40 (60% off)!

I'm a pastor. A couple times I've spaced underwear on Sunday morning and have had to go commando. Keeps the elderly women coming back.

This has been an odd thread, bouncing around from homeless boys to the question of what constitutes choice and, as always, statements that others are free to do whatever, but they're stupid and unenlightened if they do so.

This made me laugh a little.....just because I can't remember the last time I have used a comb or brush. Am I alone in just combing my hair with my fingers?

I also bike to work in these shoes. But I leave my work boots at work.....so I haven't had the problem of having to wear them all day. I don't they are too great for walking around.

Not at all. A year or so ago I "gave up on hair". Monthly I buzz down to #3 on top, #2 sides/back. As long as I keep this up I'll never need to use a comb again.
