A Blowoff Valve for My Bike

Those of you with turbocharged cars might find this amusing. I know I did... If I could just mount one on my bike, I'd use it when dropping other riders.

I've always fancied setting up an iPod with a speaker to play the overture to the Barber of Seville when I was ready to turn up the speed. But I'm afraid that almost all the riders around here are too young to get the joke.

Oh, I thought you wanted to attach a small jet engine to your bike to help you pass other riders. Nevermind.

Funny! You'd be the envy of the fast and the furious crowd.

I can't believe there is a market for a $150, fake blow off valve. What is wrong with these kids? If you really want your car to sound like it has a blow off valve, than why not start by turbocharging it??

Ahahahah I can't wait till someone hits the switch by accident while they're getting out of their car.

Not a bad idea on the roadie though, with all the people laughing behind me when my popoff valve goes off everytime i lower my cadence or go into a corner, I'm sure to drop the paceline like a stone.

And I was thinking of a vavle to put on the seat, for when you ate one too many bean burritos at Taco Bell.

So get the fake vavle add the turbospoke, and get the spinner inserts for your wheels...and a mini whale tail to put on your helmet. and get a "TYPE R" sticker for a headbadge.

Hell, there is fake Nitrous, fake air dams, fake hood scoops... you name it... Car culture is the only culture some folks have.

Yeah, I've seen some good ones too. One of my favourites is the fake intercooler. Useless, and it probably restricts the airflow to your rad enough to make your car overheat. Now....if only I could attach a big aluminum wing to my road bike....I need the extra downforce in the corners.

I wonder if I could mount that "hood ornament" on my handlebars.
