New Ortleib Trunk Bag RC

Just picked up a new trunk bag from Ortleib. Other than a test ride, haven't actually used it commuting yet. Easy to install, and it's supposed to fit on most racks. Initial impression is the bag is high quality, as expected from Ortleib. Also very light. It latches onto the rack securely with no rattles. I like that the bag can be mounted further back on the rack so the seat bag still fits. The little key thingy allows the bag to release easily, and then you just push it onto the rack until the latches click. The compartment is decent sized, with no dividers or pockets. This is a similar design to the roll top panniers, which Ortleib is well known for. Hoping this will work on the rack with the Backroller panniers I have for touring, but if not, no big deal.

Clever, I like how the width of the latches can be set to fit whatever rack.

Also fits many different diameters of tubing, and the hooks can be turned either way.

Ortlieb products are really impressive. I have a pair of their panniers.

It's Ortlieb, not Ortleib.

I know, but my spell check refuses to spell it correctly. Sorry, Ortleib, talk to Apple.

I bought a rear rack by Ortlieb Racktime recently after trying a number of other racks that didn't fit my bike. It's very lightweight and adjustable. Never heard of it before, so I found its website and turned out the rack is compatible to the trunk bags they sell, with a slide-on feature.
