commmuter bike?
What do you think of this as a commuter bike? Of course i would change the tires to thinner ones ( 1.9 with flat protection )

It might be a decent bike if your commute is not too far. I'd think that the aggressive seating position and off-road gear ratio on that bike would be uncomfortable for long haul rides. I've also found that I like a rigid fork for road riding.
I'd suggest looking for an older steel, rigid bike. You can convert it to a singlespeed if you wish. That's what I'm using and it seems to work very well.
