I did a trial run Saturday -- figuring if I had to work anyway, it would be a good chance to test the route. Did my first weekday commute today. I would have done it yesterday but the threat of rain and lack of fenders had me concerned for my Brooks B17.

Anyway, the ride in today was nice. The only minor incident was a right-hook by a ***** in a minivan. I was alert and missed hitting her....

I'm off now to towel off & change clothes. Total distance: 13.87 mi, ride time: 51:07, ave speed: 16.07, max speed: 38.1.
