A Lincoln Livingstone?
Hi,
I just moved to the UK from Canada and want to start bike commuting (as soon as I get used to right and left) again. I'm debating whether to ship my own bike from home, or buy this used bike someone offered. It seems pretty cheap though, but the guy gave me the brand name/model name and I can't find it anywhere. Has anyone heard of a Lincoln Livingstone? Know anything about it? Know any links or why I can't find it at all on google?
In Canada I went for mid-priced because of bike-theft, and have to do the same in London for the same reason. But I also don't want a REALLY crappy bike.
Thanks!
Shubha

This is a little late but I have only just become a member! I have a Lincoln Livingstone, so that means there are at least 2 of them! I would like to find out a bit more about this bike too! Like who makes them and how old is this model? I have to say that I acquired mine when I worked in a cycle shop and "my" bike was being swapped for a brand new GT. The Lincoln was going to be trashed in the rubbish skip! so I asked if I could have it - and took it away! It is a rather nice town and trail machine with 18 Shimano gears, a rear rack and flat bars. Ideal for commuting / shopping / and general use. I have been out today on mine and went pottering around our local lanes for an hour, really enjoyed it.
