Capital City Trail Free Commuter Passes

I was looking for the rules of the road and who to talk to about unplowed trails, and I came across this.

Capital City Trail Free Commuter Passes

It is near the end of the page. Does anyone else commute on the Capital City Trail? I am done commuting for the year (Winter Break), and the pass ends at Dec. 31. Therefore, I will send mine in the New Year. Has anyone pad for a pass just for commuting? I know they do enforce the pass on the other state trail in Madison. This page also has good information about who to call about unplowed trails and Wisconsin bike laws.

My commute doesn't involve the trials, but I do buy a pass so I can use Military ridge, Glacial drumlin and Elroy-sparta in the summer.

My conservation patron hunting license includes a trail pass as well as state park sticker.
Here on the Oak Leaf trail in Milwaukee I've noticed a section behind my house that has been plowed. I was bummed cuz it ruined my ski track and is such a short stretch I don't know why they bothered plowing it.

The portion of the Cap City trail that is in the city of Madison does not require the trail pass. The part that is outside the city does. Basically, from the beltline south is where you need the pass. I commute on the Cap City trail every day from the capitol to the airport, and it in always in good shape I think.
