You know you are hooked on cycling when...

You know you are hooked on cycling when ... ever you have to drive and you make right turns you keep accidentally slapping the front seat passenger !!!
( this could be left turns in some countries )

when you make sure you position your bike on it's trainer on an angle that you can still see it from your bedroom so it can be the last thing you look at before sleeping and the first thing you look at when you wake up.

Or you signal your left turn while walking down the hallway to make sure that the people who just got off the elevator don't cut you off.

Every pair of pants you own has grease stains on the right pant cuff.

. . . when you give a motorist directions meant for bicycles.

. . . when your co-workers will not let you drive because you keep drifting to the far righthand side of the lane.

. . . when you stay on BF in the unheated end of the house until you start to shiver.

I'm not hooked, not a chance. Sure I ride to work a lot, and most weekends, and almost all my vacations.... But that's nothing. So I rode yesterday in Maine in January. Doesn't mean a thing. And manana I'll use the trainer until I can't go anymore.

I can stop anytime. I have brakes!

and how exactly does that work when you're a woman? ever thought the reason why i came in 2 minutes after you is because I actually need to unclip, walk to the restroom and walk back and clip and then go..

When you are sitting at your desk at work and all of a sudden you take a deep breath in, push one nostral closed with your finger and send a snot rocket out of your open nostral... Landing directly on your coworkers keyboard who luckily is away on break!!!

you're out and about (bike or not) and always notice the wind direction and small variations of it, and calculate times of different routes based on it.

When you refer to your garage size by the number of bikes it holds, not the # of cars it holds (ie - I have a 15 bike garage).

The day just isn't right untill you have mounted up and started the morning commute. Two blocks later all is good and the day really takes off.

...after reading this forum all morning instead of working, your wife text-messages you to say she's walking the dogs and it's beautiful out (61 degrees in January!) and that I should get outside if I can, you then cancel a meeting so you can ride all of your lunchbreak.

BWAHAHAHAHAHA!

...when you walk down the street, there's always the same guy wearing worn-out shoes and an ugly jacket who always just makes it to the door of your building just before you do, then disappears. You think to yourself, "I'll catch him one of these days... How can he walk faster than me in those crappy shoes? I'll teach that KNAVE a lesson one of these days..."
