    Goodbye winter

Last week and earlier this week: low-to-mid 40's in the mornings, gloves, and a sweater.

Today: low-to-mid 60's in the morning (mid-80's yesterday afternoon!), no gloves, and a long sleeve polypro shirt that wasn't necessary.

Oh yeah: 114 days of no rain in Maricopa County and no end in sight. Perpetually dry lips suck.

I'm feeling your pain here in Albuquerque. Granted, we're not nearly approaching such temperatures as you mentioned but normally in February we're accustomed to 15-20 degree nights and when I leave at 4:45 a.m. it's up to about 35. What really kills me about this winter was that there was only one morning that I was afforded with the opportunity to brave the snow. It feels great to beat your dry road time when there's 2 or so inches of wet snow out. Anyway, good luck with the summer...I don't envy your commute in the triple digits.

the sun seems to come up quicker and quicker. i went three days without commuting, and now my standard departure time of 6:45 has me not using lights, with the sun just peeking over the horizon
